Before the Battle

I'm really looking forward to this moment in the third Hobbit movie - not only the battle itself but the moments before the battle begins. Peter Jackson is so, so good at building that tension, that "calm before the storm" that keeps you on the edge of your seat even before it all starts... I think the Battle of Helm's Deep in LotR is the best example. The rain, the silence, the distant rumbling of the Uruk army slowly approaching... It always makes me so nervous ! I love it.
